Here we are in again another Hurricane season. Looks like this year has started out fast with Andrea already hitting the CONUS with 40mph winds .

That blob is...well...a blob that is being hindered by upper level wind shear....
and ya got to love that picture of the super cell ...what a great example of thunderstorm with cyclonic vorticity...
