I watched the Mt St Mary's game vs New Orleans as well.  It was pretty good!

It is up to 57 here.  Pipes are wrapped and plants are covered.  Forecast low of 31 tonight.  Hoping it stays a couple of degrees warmer

I think we need a like button. It's just fun. Maybe more fun with a dislike button, too! I always wanted the middle-finger button or the kma button, though.

Agreed. We could have some pretty good coverage with the folks who would at least pop in for a storm. At least: Tallahassee, Cedar Key, Citrus Co, 3 Hernando, another in Pasco, several more Pinellas. We have QW in Ft Myers, but I kinda think Ed won't be back. 1 more in Bills area; Matt and Scott, of course. Then one very well-respected WU blogger over on the space coast. I'm sure I may have missed a few. That would still leave Aug and Gomey with a lot of ground to cover.

I have a brother in York PA he got 15 inches and i have my son who lives in dillsburgh PA. He got 20 inches. One hour nw of York PA.

That comment was actually more for fun than anything else, though I like the idea of 'approval', other than a quote. And sometimes I just feel like being offensive!

Actually, I'm not seeing most avatars or uncommon emoticons. I think its my work vpn that's blocking some things. My only other options are google tablet and android phone, which I have yet to try here. With Bills comment, I might get there sooner...

Good Thursday Morning Folks..cold outside here for sure.luckily so far no 25mph winds..just a very light breeze at times..alot of freeze and hard freeze warnings to my north..not by my area so far..well have a great day everyone!!

well temps here still falling,down to 40 degree's here by me but just to my north in the 30's..always gets colder towards dawn huh,i suspect i'll see that 39 by me shortly..walked my dogs and its COLD outside lol..luckily there is very little wind so far anyway..bundle up folks when you go to work...especially north of the I-4 corridor northward..inland area's have a Hard Freeze warning up there.

Beautiful, frosty 25 degrees here inland along the Nature Coast this AM. The sprinkler produced some nice icicles for the kids to play with. Looks like it will warm up to 60 degrees with another light freeze or frost tonight. Most likely the last of the year.

Morning. Bottomed out at 30 here. Up to 34 now headed towards a high of 60.

So the GFS model is saying the next good chance for rain would be around the 25th..we'll see if it verifies huh.

yes we'll see if it verifies,many days away and we cannot trust models that far out but..GFS did predict what happened this week..some time ago..i give it 2 stars for being right LOL.

Afternoon folks  

I bottomed out at 33.9 - right on target for the Ruskin forecasts this year.   5 degrees colder than what was forecast for me - every cold snap has been this way.  I think they have a hard time with the supposed warmth off of the gulf and the cold intrusion close to Hwy 19 in my neck of the woods.

I'm up to 56, but it's still chilly.  I set up office in front of the fireplace today.  

I locked this blog so that everyone would start posting on the "New Florida Weather Blog (and Mobile!)"
