Turn on your water hose and fill your gauge with #yellow square (1" - 3" of rain on my rainfall Exel doc I keep. San needs occasional reminders to keep hers current).  Psychologically you'll feel better.  Grab a cerveza while you do it.  That helps at times.

Damn. Checked radar. It's fizzling out for me. Nice breeze. Forecast says no cool-down. Hopefully its a bit dryer for a bit.

Just a visible CG lightning strike over San Carlos Bay to the SSW within the last 30-60 min and currently overcast/breezy in Iona. Most of the heavier precipitation is on a line from S Cape Coral NW through Cayo Costa. We'll have to see how these cells develop.

So. no rain for weeks, and I come out of Publix and it's raining, big, cold drops.  It lasted all of 60 seconds. Rolling Eyes

Now the sun is out.

It was waiting for you, BillsFan. I think I felt a drop.

The complex of cells which produced a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and two Special Weather Statements in Lee Co. this afternoon appears to be well-offshore in the Gulf. It leaves behind a much more comfortable temperature of 23 °C [73 °F] and dewpoint of 12 °C [54 °F]. Hopefully will see a few nighttime flashes from the offshore storms tonight. Have a good night y'all!

LOL....I'll leave this alone, since I'm sure there will be no lack of comment from our resident gome (that would be Gomey)

Can't beat those temps/DP's in late March in your neck of the woods. Enjoy while it lasts!

Enjoy, BillsFan. Checking forecasts earlier, and it looked like you're gonna get the weekend weather award. Good news for SoFla. Looking at mine, April is here. I'm betting on a couple of brush fires soon.
