Good afternoon. Been a busy couple of days at work.

A nice little cell skirted about 2 miles north a few hours ago then another a few miles south. Both dropped .5 - 1" for some lucky folks. No complaints though. Running about average for the month with better rain chances in the coming days to close out July.

This is not my area of expertise, but I believe that your IP is assigned by the wireless router (assuming you are on wireless or hardwired to a router). There may be something in the router configuration that is causing this. Did you happen to get your router from Canada? Wink

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM EDT
THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Heat Advisory,
which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 6 PM EDT this
evening.

* TEMPERATURE...heat index values will range from 105 to 110 this
afternoon over portions of Miami-Dade and Inland Collier County.

* IMPACTS...high heat index values could lead to dehydration and
heat exhaustion. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions, if you work or spend time outside. When
possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when
possible and drink plenty of water.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety

by heat stroke should be moved to a cool and shaded location.
Heat stroke is an emergency, call 9 1 1.

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and
neighbors.

LOL, I have no idea if it came from Canada! I have FIOS and Frontier issued me a new one.

My apologies to everyone over the Godaddygate! I guess the payment went to the "Canada" version of Go Daddy. I had to talk to them today to get it all fixed up. Any chances I'll see my Canada payment back anytime soon???

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee Largo. Glad to see I can get back on the site. I had a brief sprinkle sometime overnight, but no other rainfall the last few days. Looks like a good rain event coming for the weekend into next week and it is right on schedule with my normal wettest period of the summer. Typically during the last half of July and the first half of August the Big Bend/Nature Coast area gets a lot of morning storms, some of which drop huge amounts of rainfall. In 2015, I got 15" of rainfall from July 25th to August 5th from an old Invest low that stalled in the NE Gulf. Last year I got 21" from August 3rd to August 10th from the beginnings of the No Name storm that flooded LA. Doesn't look like we are in for anything that extreme this year, but when the storms start training off the Gulf in a moisture rich environment the RF totals can add up quickly.
