TORNADO. SOURCE... WEATHER SPOTTERS CONFIRMED WATERSPOUT MOVING ONSHORE. IMPACT... FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...

* Until 115 PM CDT Monday

* At 109 AM CDT, Doppler radar and rain gauge observations indicate
that 3 to 6 inches of rain has fallen over a large portion of
Okaloosa County with isolated areas of 7 to 8 inches. While the
heavy rain has ended, rivers, creeks and streams will continue to
rise through the overnight hours, with flooding persisting or
gradually increasing.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Crestview, Niceville, Destin, Eglin AFB,
Valparaiso, Mary Esther, Ocean City, Lake Lorraine, Baker,
Shalimar, Laurel Hill and Cinco Bayou.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
A few thunderstorms are expected along a cold front that will
impact the area today and into Tuesday. Although a few storms may
contain gusty winds and frequent lightning, no organized widespread
severe weather is expected at this time.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Cautionary level winds can be expected over portions of the
marine zones of the eastern Gulf of Mexico today. These winds and
choppy seas will result in periods of hazardous boating
conditions for smaller craft.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Small craft advisory conditions expected behind a cold front that
will push through the area Tuesday afternoon. Hazardous boating
conditions for smaller crafts look to continue into early
Thursday.

Good Monday Morning Folks!..well cold front rains just off shore here by me,guess we go thru getting this cold front all day today into tomorrow..would be nice for some rain,getting dry here once again....well have a great day everyone!!

Largo, the radar looks good this AM , but very little is falling from the sky. Hope it gets heavier through the day as we could really use some measurable rainfall up here going into the dry season. NOAA has already said we will probably return to drought conditions this winter and spring due to the coming LA NINA.

good morning WD yes I'm seeing the dryness here already..your right on the radar..very little rain has fallen here,not enough to even fully wet the street so far.

good morning Billsfan..euro and I think navy models bring a second Low or storm close or on your area around that time also..first week of November..but everything is up in the air right now ok...we cant believe anything just yet ok.

yesterday in listening to my local met..a stronger cold front is supposed to push down and push this stalled weak cold front down our state this week I think he said..we'll see how all this plays out over this coming week and maybe weekend.

yes my 7-day forecast has this second cold front coming this weekend....................

well hardly any rain has fallen by me here..its breezy but still warm it looks like wens/thurs i'll get the cooler temps for a couple of days.

ah now the Euro has moved up to oct 29th..only 6 days away now................

well still a about 5-6 days off yet..still time for things to change..but hopefully it will all be over before you leave Billsfan..i'll keep watching the models ok.

some models are putting a Hurricane off the east coast of SE Florida late this coming weekend..too early yet to believe ok...

Tornado's now in South Carolina if anyone has family/friends up there,guess this happens every year when fall begins pushing this fronts eastward huh.

* Until 430 PM CDT Monday

* At 1025 AM CDT, rain gauge observations indicated that widespread
amounts of 3 to 6 inches of rain fell over a large portion of
Baldwin County and northwest Escambia County Florida last night,
with isolated amounts over 8 inches. While rain has ended,
flooding will persist along area rivers, creeks and streams well
into the afternoon. The Fish River at Silverhill crested just
below major flood stage late last night, and will remain in
moderate flood stage through this afternoon. The Styx River at
Elsanor is forecast to crest near major flood stage this morning.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Daphne, Fairhope, Bay Minette, Foley, Robertsdale, Point Clear,
Loxley, Lillian, Magnolia Springs, Stapleton, Bon Secour,
Summerdale, Silverhill, Perdido Beach and Elberta.

gee I could use 3 -6 inches rainfall here by me..doesn't look like any chance this time..maybe the next front next weekend?

At 211 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Suwannee Valley to near Lulu to near
Worthington Spring. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph can be expected along with possible minor
wind damage.

Locations impacted include...
Lake City, Starke, Lake Butler, White Springs, Raiford, Worthington
Spring, Taylor, Macclenny, Glen St. Mary and Worthington Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Good Tuesday Morning Folks!..well its almost 5am here and some light rain pushing thru my area..I got some great rains here last evening, everything is soaking wet outside still...so I'm a happy camper!!...looks like today the moisture will be I-4 southward..good luck south florida!......as for the Caribbean LOW..it is now..invest-93 and had a 50% chance of developing...models having trouble still on how strong it will be but they all think it comes close to..or scrapes along southern florida to the atlantic and the bahama's probably this coming sunday...nws is saying models having a hard time with it..so stay alert and wait this out ok........................well have a great day everyone!

Good morning all. I got lucky and ended up with a 0.50" of much needed rain from the frontal passage yesterday. This AM it is a beautiful 57 degrees out with a forecast high of 79. Looks like we are in for a nice stretch of Fall weather here for the next two weeks. In fact, the highest temp I see forecast is 81 while the lowest is 42. I hope the front clears the entire state so all get at least a small taste of the seasonal change at hand. On the tropical low in the Caribbean, I think what ever it becomes won't be overly strong and will at worst be a glancing blow to SFL and the keys and at best it will miss the state all together.

good Morning WD,yes some great temps coming this week and next,im hoping the 90's are gone till next year but..we'll see how it goes,im hoping for a cooler than normal late fall and winter this year with La Nina.

good morning JR,yes some good rainfall for us indeed..already feeling better outside,can almost feel..the changes coming huh.

models still don't have a handle on what strength this Invest 93 will have,but..the tracks aren't changing so they all think it scrapes along south florida or going real close thru the florida straights..so far anyway..still looks like 28-29-30th..end of this month.

lets hope invest 93 crosses Cuba and misses south Florida......................................

well regardless of development..alot of rain for south Florida next 5 days....
