Good Wednesday Morning folks!...well its the day before and all thru the house...excitement is building..the smell of baking and the sounds of pies being prepared and veggies being sliced..and I could swear I almost heard a Gobble-Gobble coming out of the kitchen which woke me up LOL..wife is being very Busy this early morning,,a big day ahead for her,this is a special day since she Loves cooking and Baking...well i'll keep the dogs busy and away from her as she does her important work....im sure most of you who cook will be going thru the same thing today..only a slight chance for rain today..thurs-fri will be the rainy days here...................have a great day everyone!!

Morning. Busy day yesterday. Didn't have a chance to get online. Yesterday was looking like a bust rain-wise here but yesterday evening it rained .69". Dry today then 2-4" in the forecast for tomorrow.

Hi everyone. Busy day here too, work, helping my boss who injured his leg, then home to cook. Made the pumpkin pie and sweet potaoe casserole today. Doing veggies for dressing in a bit.

At 628 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Silver Springs
Shores, or 9 miles southeast of Ocala, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving all! Quiet day here today. Due to the all-day rain forecast the few of us decided to gather on Saturday when the weather will be pleasant.

Dumped .55 from the gauge at 7 AM. Guessing another .25 has fallen since then. No end in sight anytime soon so that 1.5 - 3.5 Jax forecast looks good. Since I'm locked in today I hope to end at the higher end of the totals, lol.

* Tornado Warning for...
West central Pasco County in west central Florida...

* Until 115 PM EST

* At 1245 PM EST, a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was
located over Jasmine Estates, or over New Port Richey, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Jasmine Estates around 1255 PM EST.
Hudson around 100 PM EST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Bayonet Point, Moon Lake and Shady Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

Farther south...isolated to scattered showers will develop through
the afternoon and lift north. Coverage of showers and storms will
increase into late afternoon from metro Orlando south to Lake
Okeechobee.

Cold temperatures aloft along with some wind shear may produce a few
strong storms...especially if enough surface heating occurs. The

A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across the central
and southern Florida Peninsula today.

...FL...
Showers and thunderstorms continue to affect the FL peninsula today,
as an upper trough moves across the region. The strongest upper
forcing and vertical shear is occurring in vicinity of the surface
baroclinic zone from north of TPA to north of MLB. Isolated cells
may occasionally intensify to strong/severe levels in this corridor
today with gusty winds, small hail, and perhaps a tornado. Vertical
shear profiles will slowly weaken through the day as cyclogenesis
occurs off the east coast, veering and weakening low level winds.
This combined with substantial cloud cover and only weak CAPE lead
to maintenance of the MRGL risk category.

Farther south, parameters are less favorable for organized severe
storms. However, slightly higher instability values and more
favorable diurnal timing of convection may lead to a few strong
cells capable of gusty winds. Therefore no changes to the outlook
have been made to this area.

NWS Tampa discussion (clipped)....
There are two separate bands of showers and storms making their way
ashore along the west coast of Florida this afternoon. The northern
one is located along the Nature Coast just north of Tampa Bay and
the southern one is streaming onshore from Sarasota southward to
Fort Myers. 60-90% POPs can be expected through the evening hours in
these bands. Rain chances decrease overnight but will still remain
around 30-50% through Friday afternoon. Temperatures will be
slightly below average over the next couple of days as the high
pressure filters in cooler air in the wake of the low pressure and
frontal boundary.

NWS Tampa......UPDATE...
The surface low has moved east of the Florida peninsula off the
coast of Jacksonville. Lingering low clouds and light rain
continue to persist from Sarasota County northward to the
Nature Coast. The 12Z morning sounding is still showing
abundant low level moisture with a PWAT of 1.35 inches, so
we are expecting slow burn-off of these low level clouds
through the day. Model soundings are showing a moderate
drying in the low/mid levels by this evening which will
allow for decreasing cloud cover and rain chances. Radar
imagery is still showing some light rain from Hernando
County northward, so have tweaked the POPs in that area, but
still keeping it in the 20% range through the next several
hours. Naturally with all the cloud cover, temperatures will
be well below average with most places only reaching the
low 70`s. Will send out updated zones shortly.
