FYI on the pork loin
Comes in packs of 2 --> separate
Dry rub (kosher salt, garlic powder, med.ground black pepper)
Fold each in half for a more even 'tube' shape, and hog tie 'em
36 hours ziplock in fridge
Grill entirely by INDIRECT HEAT
450-475 degrees - 2 mins per 4 sides
225-250 until internal temp hits 130 (didn't time it, but 30 mins???)
Remove and cover in alum foil for 10 mins
Slice and serve - yes, it cuts with a fork. Smile

(clip)..NWS Tampa..To start out on Sunday
afternoon, the front that was located down south will shift
northward producing a chance of showers across the region.
The next significant weather event will be associated with a
surface low that develops along that frontal boundary over
the northern gulf coast late Sunday into early Monday. As
this low tracks east and the associated front lingers over
the region, rain chances will range from 40-60 percent POPs
each day through the middle of next week. No drastic
temperature change is expected with near seasonal temps
expected each day.

Health alert...........................RECALL: Some Publix brand eggs added to massive egg recall
By Spectrum News Staff  |  April 17, 2018 @6:25 PM
SHARE
LAKELAND, Fla. — Some Publix brand eggs have been added to the massive egg recall issued this past weekend.

Publix 18-pack eggs now part of massive egg recall
Consumers urged to return eggs to store for refund
RELATED: More than 200 million eggs recalled over salmonella fears
Cartons of Publix's 18-pack, grade A extra large eggs are being recalled because they could be contaminated with salmonella. Those eggs are part of one load, or 23,400 dozen eggs, bought by Indiana-based Rose Acre Farms and repackaged at Cal-Maine Foods, Inc.'s Dade City facility.

The recalled package lot codes on the Publix eggs are P1359D 048A and P1359D 049A, and the UPC code is 41415 00966. The "best by" before date is April 2, 2018 and April 3, 2018.

Consumers who may have the recalled Publix eggs are urged not to eat them and return them to their local store for a refund. You can also call Publix's customer line at 1-800-242-1227.

A few days ago, Rose Acre Farms announced it was recalling 200 million eggs from the company's Hyde County, North Carolina production farm because of possible bacteria contamination.

The millions of eggs were distributed in nine states to various restaurants and stores, including Walmart and Food Lion. Almost two dozen illnesses have been reported, federal officials said.

So a spectator at the Lighting game the other night got hit in the face with a puck and is suing the team? What a joke. Hopefully that goes NOWHERE. What about her personal responsibility for accepting the risk by purchasing a ticket? It is clearly stated on the ticket.

ive often said that there should be some kind of see thru safety glass screen inbetween the spectator seats and the rink...that puck can hit you at 300 mph one newscaster said a long time ago,but im sure on that ticket it must say somewhere..enter and view at you own risk

And don't get me wrong, I feel bad for the lady, she got quite the bump on her face/head, but I'm sure there are signs and pretty sure it says it on the ticket. I'm sure there must be a reason there's not the safety glass extending higher, but I don't know what it is.

Good afternoon. Quick check in over lunch.

It was 87 on my car thermometer around 1:15 pm but the dew points are low so doesn't feel bad.

Probably some person looking for a cheap handout bills. Much higher threat in baseball getting hit by a foul ball but I've never heard of issues there. Now the folks on the Southwest airline flight have a legitimate beef for compensation.

Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
415 AM EDT Thu Apr 19 2018

.SHORT TERM (Today through Friday)...
Surface high pressure stretched east to west across the Florida
peninsula will drift south today with a general westerly flow
setting up ahead of weakening cool front. This front will move south
into the forecast area tonight and Friday with the only real affect
being some clouds. The boundary will wash out across the region
during Friday with another area of high pressure well to the north
building south shifting low level winds back to northeast which will
bring some slightly drier air back into the area. As for
temperatures today we`ll see a wide range from mid 70s close to the
gulf coast to the middle and upper 80s inland east of Interstate 75
thanks to the westerly flow. Tonight some clouds are expected to
move into the region in the vicinity of the front with lows ranging
from the mid 50s north to mid 60s near the coast from around Tampa
Bay southward. For Friday northeast winds will setup from around the
Interstate 4 corridor northward with some slightly cooler and drier
air moving into these areas keeping temperature in the mid 70s to
lower 80s. Further south lighter north to northeast winds will allow
the west coast sea breeze to develop setting up a range from the
upper 70s near the coast to the upper 80s inland.

.MID TERM/LONG TERM (Friday Night through Thursday)...
As we head into the upcoming weekend, a rather benign weather
pattern will remain in place. Broad, somewhat flat upper flow will
continue as surface high pressure remains anchored north of the
region. With time, this pattern will change, resulting in unsettled
weather heading into next week.

Shortwave upper ridging and surface high pressure will persist into
Saturday, with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s and a few showers
across mainly interior parts of the peninsula. The upper pattern
will transition early Sunday, as a strong upper trough moves across
the central Gulf Coast states. This system will nudge closer to our
area Sunday into Sunday night, with substantial increases in rain
chances, especially across the northern peninsula and panhandle, and
interior portions of the state.

Heading into next week, the upper trough will become somewhat cutoff
from the upper flow, allowing it to drift across the region. This
coupled with several weak areas of low pressure emanating from the
Gulf of Mexico, will continue to promote unsettled weather with rain
chances each day. Light westerly flow will favor early day showers
along and near the coast, with late day showers and perhaps an
isolated storm east of I-75. Given the increase in cloud cover and
moisture, high temperatures will be somewhat limited, remaining in
the 70s and lower 80s.

Drier weather will eventually resume beyond mid week as upper
troughing lifts northeast and a zonal to northwest flow pattern
becoming established. Weak surface high pressure will slip in along
with drier air, allowing for warm afternoons and slightly cooler
nights.

During the work week, I usually have yogurt and a V-8 which I take to work in my cooler. Sometimes with watermelon or green apple.

LOl Largo, loved your loin comments!

Breakfast, what is that? Like Aug, I'm in the office within about 10 minutes from waking. I have never been one to do breakfast except maybe on the weekend, but when I was in school growing up I would drink a Pepsi and "maybe" eat a piece of toast for breakfast - the breakfast of Champions! lol

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
A cold front will shift southward across the water later this
evening and overnight. As the gradient tightens, strong northeast
winds will ensue. Cautionary to advisory conditions will spread
southward through the night, eventually impacting Tampa Bay. Winds
will remain elevated into the daylight hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Low level moisture will be on the rise over the next few days. A
strong storm system will approach and move across the region

for thunderstorms. Showers and storms will likely linger into the
first half of the week.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Winds will remain elevated Saturday night into Sunday as strong
gradient flow continues with easterly wind surges. This will make
for hazardous boating conditions. High pressure will eventually
slip south into the region mid to late week with improving
conditions.

Good morning Largo and all. 68 degrees on the way in this morning. Peeking into next week I see highs in mid 80's but still see some lows in the upper 60's mid week. Can't beat that!
