Hey BillsFan,
I just had the opportunity, due to: (contract wording) 'clear evidence of treatment zone disruption', to get free-retreatment for termites. Originally treated in 1994, nary any signs of termites -- ever. They pumped in a bunch of fipronil down through the foundation. Does this sound correct to you? I looked it up a bit and found it's half-life to be 4m to 1y. Anything I need to know, for future consideration?
Thanks, in advance.
so refresh my memory... You've paid an annual renewal since 1995? If so, yes, that sounds good. We deal with Formosan termites down here, very aggressive, but in your area not a concern... yet. Do you have an annual premium with them? sorry, my mind has been in 24 directions the last week. We install termite bait stations down here that we check quarterly. (and bait if needed)... but the Fipronil is the same idea.

Thunderstorms blew up around the area earlier after my radar post. My phone had 4-5 Severe Thunderstorm warnings but the cells passed just to my north and south while I got squeezed in between with squadoosh!

Morning y'all! I'll have to check the rain gauge this afternoon when I get home but, if I had to guess, we probably got close to 3". Those storms were pretty intense. Made for good sleeping weather last night though! It was still raining around 1am. Foggy on the way in to work this morning. Y'all have a great day!

No rainfall by me so far. Glad the front didn't stall farther south as those rainfall totals just a bit north of me are crazy for a spring frontal system. Radar estimates in Lafayette county are now over 12"!!!! I would like some rainfall to knock the dust down, but not a foot of rain all at once.

Rain shield is still up and functioning in Cedar Key. Heavy rainfall has fallen from Chiefland north and eastward to Gainesville, with radar estimates of 2-4 inches. Even storming heavily in Marion County, while the storms continue to go around me. Maybe the storms will build southward as the day progresses.

I'm very busy with work Largo but appreciate you asking. It started raining around 5am or so and is just winding down now. Did a quick gauge peek and looks to be 2 - 2 1/2". I am a happy camper! No severe weather for me but there were a few close lightning strikes.
