Hey Jenny. Nice change of pace, on the color. I'm seeing that there are comments from here. Sometimes it seems to have issue, but a refresh tends to work most of the time.

NWS TAMPA..Tue Jul 4 2017
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for West Central And Southwest
Florida.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Ample moisture combined with daytime heating and the sea breeze
circulations will support isolated to scattered thunderstorms
over the region today, with the greatest coverage of storms
expected over inland locations during the afternoon and early
evening hours. Thunderstorms that develop today will move slow and
erratic so locally heavy rainfall amounts will be possible in
some locations which may cause some minor flooding of low lying
and poor drainage areas, as well as the ponding of water on
roadways. In addition to the rain, frequent deadly lightning
strikes and strong gusty winds will accompany the storms. Remember
if lightning is observed or thunder is heard move indoors
immediately.

Morning all and Happy Independence Day. Nice pic JR
Sunny and HOT here today. 97 degrees with a HI around 110. It's even going to be toasty at the beaches where I'll be for a couple of hours.
Little in the way of rain this month and pretty much zip in the forecast for today. Hosting 1 adult, 2 young kids, and 2 dogs along with being out in the heat has me very tired this morning. I'm sure staying up late last night drinking adult beverages with my brother didn't help matters.

Good for you!..Now go out throw some steaks on that grill and enjoy the 4th!
2-Inch boneless ribeye strips, 130 degrees, coming up in just a bit.
It's hot, 94, and the sun is scorching. Pool is being well utilized. Got up to a light rain earlier, but nothing to measure. That was nice -- about a half hour.

Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
1025 AM EDT Wed Jul 5 2017
.UPDATE...
Mainly sunny skies across the area this morning as drier air
continues to overspread the region in the mid and upper levels.
Morning TBW sounding shows this well as precipitable water has
fallen to less than 1.4 inches with a lot of dry air above 700
mb. Of course at the surface the high humidity continues and with
the drier air aloft the clouds and eventual convective development
will be delayed thus allowing temperatures to rapidly climb into
the lower and middle 90s by early this afternoon. This will push
heat indices to our typical 100 to 105 range for this time of
year. Scattered convection should first develop over the northern
portions of the Nature Coast and southern interior during the
early and mid-afternoon and then move/develop toward the west and
northwest through the evening. Any convection will move out into
the gulf later in the evening and overnight. Overall the current
grids/zone forecast are on track, but did tweak high temperatures
up a degree or two today.

From Cat6 Blog:
CSU, TSR raise odds for an active Atlantic hurricane season
Odds have risen for an active Atlantic hurricane season, according to the forecast updates issued by two leading seasonal prediction groups this week. In their July 5 outlook, Dr. Phil Klotzbach and Dr. Michael Bell (Colorado State University) called for 15 named storms, 8 hurricanes, 3 major hurricanes and an accumulated cyclone energy (ACE) of 132. These numbers include the three tropical storms already observed this year: Arlene, Bret and Cindy. The CSU team boosted the numbers from its June 1 outlook, which called for 14 named storms, 6 hurricanes, 2 major hurricanes, and an ACE of 100. Their April 14 outlook called for 11 named storms, 4 hurricanes, 2 major hurricanes and an ACE of 75.
The July 4 forecast for the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season made by British private forecasting firm Tropical Storm Risk, Inc. (TSR) also showed increased numbers: 17 named storms, 7 hurricanes, 3 intense hurricanes and an Accumulated Cyclone Energy (ACE) of 116. Their May 26 forecast predicted 14 named storms, 6 hurricanes, 3 intense hurricanes and an Accumulated Cyclone Energy (ACE) of 98. The long-term averages for the past 65 years are 11 named storms, 6 hurricanes, 3 intense hurricanes and an ACE of 101.
The two main reasons for the upgraded forecast given by both groups:
—a reduced likelihood of a significant El Niño this year
—warming of the tropical Atlantic relative to the seasonal norm
