THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND.

We had such a nice time spending the day with Gome, our crew thought we would do it again.  But who would be interesting enough to spend the day with and who we would enjoy writing about.  

The crew stopped at the local café, we were pretty tired, and really needed a break to sit and talk about our next adventure.  So, as we sat with our coffee and low fat muffins (San’s on a health kick these days, but I digress and that is for another story) we started thinking about who we could write about.  Our good friend Aug showed up and kept on suggesting our other friend E.  In fact he was pretty adamant about it as you can see from his remarks here.




After Aug had left, San, I and the crew started thinking.  Could we make an entire day interesting if we went to Aug’s?  He doesn’t have much of a life.  He usually just spends it lounging around the house in his favorite PJ’s.  
after careful consideration, we decided that we would give it a shot; I mean how bad could it be.  If he wasn’t interesting enough, we could just make something up.  Boy, were we in for a surprise.  

Just in case you were wondering Aug,
HERE COMES THAT BUS BACK AT YOU!!!

We arrived a little earlier than expected to Aug’s house, so we decided to run and pick up breakfast at the diner around the corner to surprise Aug with.   As we were waiting in line at the local diner we were thinking what we could bring Aug for breakfast.  For all that don’t know, Aug doesn’t like a lot of things.   No cheese, tomatoes, or a bunch of other things.  As we were perusing the menu we saw that there wasn’t much on there that Aug would like, but we did finally find one thing that he would eat.  So that’s what we brought him.  


We knocked on Aug’s door to find him still lounging in his favorite pajamas. Aug had said blushing, that he had had a couple of friends over the night before and things got a little out of hand. We reminded him that this was a family blog and that it might be better if we didn’t know anymore.

Aug decided that it was time to start his day.  He really wanted to be done by noon, so he could watch his football games this afternoon.  He checked his list and decided that it was early enough that he could start by trimming his bushes.  Aug has a bad bees nest on this one particular bush that he hasn’t been able to trim all summer, it was getting a little out of hand So he donned his trimming clothes, and he was off to trim the hedges.   Aug was pretty proud of the work he had done, and we must say, we were pretty impressed ourselves.  It truly was a work of art, as you can see here for yourself. I just kept on wondering what Aug had against his neighbor, but thought it would be better not to ask.  

Aug looked at his watch,  , and realized that the mail man would be there in a half an hour, “I am anxiously awaiting my Platinum Visa rewards card to arrive in the mail.”  So he better go wait for him.  Not much happened during this time so we took a break and just let the camera roll.  When we checked it later this is all we got.  



Realizing he still had a little bit of time to kill and a little disappointed that the mailman he had waited so patiently for had just driven on by him, he decided to check his teams for the weekend.  Aug is really into the fantasy games that the WWW has to offer.  He seems to have quite a few of them going.  Football, Baseball, NASCAR, he was off running to get his notes that he needed.  He finally got comfortable and started studying away.  

He started with his Nascar team, he really wasn’t doing that well in that one.  


He really needed to win at least one race.   He wasn’t sure what he was doing wrong after all he was using the same team as Rooster every week and she seemed to be winning.  Even Grillin was doing better than him and she only had the same 2 guys every week.  He concluded to himself that there had to be a conspiracy going on and the girls were out to get him again.

After he was finished getting his teams set for the weekend, he decided to play a little poker.  He was also a little hungry but it was still a little early for dinner so he decided on a snack.


He was hoping that his friend San would be around also.  He always liked playing san in poker, it was the one thing he felt he could beat her in.  We could tell from the get go that he had a competitive side.  After a couple hands, san finally showed up and he thought that this was a good a time as any to finally have a leg up on things.  It was a pretty interesting hand.  Seemed to go on for a while, but it was finally down to the two of them at the table.  Aug had a great hand and thought he was shoe in to win this hand.  Then he would have bragging rights he thought to himself.  San was pretty persistent herself, and finally called all in.  The next thing we saw was the look on Aug’s face.   He couldn’t believe it, san won, she had the perfect hand.

After losing miserably at poker, Aug decided he needs a trim.  So he went and grabbed the sharpest thing he could find and proceeded to cut his hair.

After this, we decided that we had spent enough time with Aug for the day.  He thanked him for his hospitality and made our way down the road.   But not before warning Aug NOT to grab the keys to the bus ever again cause you never know when it might come on back and run you over itself.
