Has Spring Begun?

Spring began on March 20th....unless you prefer to use "Meteorological Spring," which began March 1st.

Things are starting to get active, as we have seen over the past couple of weeks.  The upcoming few weeks appear to be a continuation.  Larry Cosgrove (met from Houston) puts out a great weekly newsletter, with graphics and his general forecast for the upcoming short term, mid term, and long term periods.  It usually comes out on either Sat or Sun.

The hot spot today looks like along the TX/OK border and surrounding areas - REALLY??  Yeah, this is ALWAYS the hot spot, IMO.  The SPC gives that area a "Moderate" risk on the Day 1 Outlook.

I've seen a lot of chatter about chasing the next couple of days.  Severe Studios is probably a good site for you to take a peek at, if you like to follow the chasers.  Currently, there are only two chasers streaming, but it's early and I expect the map to be lit up this afternoon.....Click on the link below and then click on a streaming car icon to view that chaser's live stream.
