Eclipse 2017 Photo's

I went to Hopkinsville ,Ky. to meet my cousin and his friend to team up and film the eclipse. The Hopkinsville Church of Christ gave us use of their parking lot for us to film the event. We had about 10 cameras and 3 telescopes to control but timing and practice helped us through with precision. Here was our set-up:

Next we have sun spots being eaten by the mean ole Moon:

Then the Moon ate the suns last group of sun spots:

Then just before totality I caught Baily's Beads :

Great pictures gomey. I'm glad you had a safe trip to and fro and had the chance to meet up with the family. Nice too ya'll had the parking lot pretty much to yourself without all the shoulder bumping.

only bad part was the drive home..Took 12 hours to get home...my Cousin Bobby had it worse ,it took them over 10 hours to go 180 miles back North to Indiana.

Those are great photos Gomey! Maybe you should have spent one more night in the car with a little #shine in the parking lot, and headed home Tuesday!!

lol Well I was in the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee and since it took 12 hours to get home...I may have been better off. The traffic jam's were as advertised. Nashville and Birmingham were nightmares!..lol
