Sorry! He is an owner in the truck series - BK Racing. He is closing it down to focus on future plans. So, he will not have a driver in that series starting 2018.

I just assumed everyone knew he had that.....lol

You'd think Nascar wouldn't want to take off the last weekend before football season starts.

I know Billsfan! It really makes no sense that they aren't racing this weekend.

That is odd. You'd think if anything they'd take off next weekend with the Labor Day holiday.

In baseball news, the Dodgers are putting together a historical season. 91 wins, 36 losses. Crazy. If they go 26-9 for the remainder they'll have the best regular season of all time - and doing it without Clayton Kershaw! For the non-baseball fan Kershaw is hands down the best pitcher in the game and likely one of the best of all time when his career is said and done. He's only in his 20's and would probably be a hall of famer if he never pitched another inning.

And for billsfan, what Giancarlo Stanton is doing is just as impressive. 49 homers and on pace for 63. Toss out the steroid era with Bonds, McGwire, Sosa and you'd potentially be looking at your new single-season home run record holder. When healthy he is hands down the most feared slugger in the game.

Yes, he is a specimen!    What's even more impressive about it is his comeback from being struck in the face with an 88mph fastball three years ago. It was horrific!  I was worried he wouldn't play again.

I remember that. Mike Fiers from the Brewers. Just one of those pitches that got away. He felt terrible about it. Glad to see Stanton recover. Many a player would play scared stepping back into the batters box.
