.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected
again across South Florida today. Activity is expected along the east
coast metro through the morning hours, with the highest coverage
once again across the interior and Gulf coast this afternoon and
evening. The primary threats are lightning, small hail, gusty winds,
and localized minor flooding.

Waterspouts:Conditions are favorable for the development of
waterspouts possible over the remainder of the Atlantic waters.
Isolated waterspouts will be possible across the remainder of the
South Florida waters through the rest of the day.

No other hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Scattered thunderstorms are expected each day, generally along the
east coast during the overnight and morning hours, and across the
interior and Gulf coast during the afternoons and evenings. The
primary threat will be lightning, although gusty winds and locally
heavy rain are also possible.

No other hazardous weather is expected at this time.

well it IS the season and any and all storms etc in the gulf surely need to be watched closely huh,im glad the GFS has such a long view in the future,if something Does form ...we'll have plenty of time to prepare..i wonder why the beloved Euro model has such a limited time frame into the future weeks?

That's terrible! We need a more stringent mental health evaluations. I see people on the street that seriously should be in hospitals and under care.

Well, yes and no. I was in Gainesville all day yesterday and there was a really nice afternoon T-storm there. However, I got home to find no rainfall at the house and I have had none today as well. Just the nature of summer time storms. Some days you hit, some days you miss.

yeah for sure..an hour or so ago here the sky Got real dark, ALOT of thunder and Lightning, I thought for sure we were going to get a heavy downpour....it just moved away..not a drop of rain lol

I'm a firm believer in the death penalty in some cases.

thanks JR, yeah it simply Poured down heavy rain here has to be close to a half hour or so then moved on..i needed that rain, so it was a good rain for sure here
