throughout the day. This convection will likely contain transient
mesocyclones, with a few tornadoes possible in cells that can
exhibit strong rotation. Models consistently depict a north-south
band of convection across Alabama during the day with strong shear
profiles, and 5% tornado probabilities have been extended eastward

SUMMARY...The tornado threat with TS Cindy is expected to spread
inland but remain very widely dispersed and poorly focused through
midday. Isolated supercells may intensify enough to produce
tornadoes within a broad area from the lower Delta region to parts
of Alabama and western Florida Panhandle. See SPC Mesoscale
Discussion 118 for initial meteorological details.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 105 statute miles
north and south of a line from 40 miles southwest of Natchez MS to
35 miles north northeast of Crestview FL. For a complete depiction

Looking at radar, things should be easing up on you finally. Hopefully when the front and ex Cindy do the dance, you will be far enough south to not have any impact from it.

Hi all.  Whew, been a long day for many (especially my daughter).  First grandson was born today.  Mom and grandson are doing well.  He was born at 5:43 pm and tipped the scales at 7lb, 3oz.   I wasn't ready to be a grand dad at my age but I am.  Thought I'd share a picture.  Even though we all hide behind the anonymity of the internet sometimes a personal touch goes a long way.  Here's a pic of my daughter and I while she was having a better labor moment.

geez just mowed the lawn and man is that Humidity HIGH here on the coast whew...Humidity/dew point is mid 70's here by me,add the Hot temps and not a good day to do any lawn mowing..foolish me LOL

well with the sun shining thru the clouds and high humidity,any storms that do form here might be a good rain maker..

I got to take a work trip to SF back in 2003 or 2004. Snuck in an afternoon trip to the Muir Woods State Park just north of the Golden Gate bridge. Those trees are breath taking. Tell your wife to takes lots of pictures!

Reminds me of one the blimps stationed down here. It went out for a joyride in the late afternoon in summer. Needless to say, it didn't end well. It crashed into a warehouse due to lightning etc.

Good morning. Looking forward to the rain chances returning. I've been in a mini dry spell with zippo 4 of the past 6 days. Today offers some hope albeit not the greatest chances. We shall see.
