Re: CLOSED Beginning of 2018 Tropical Season for Florida
yeah same here JR..these thick booming clouds came over the area and went poof. not a drop here, although i did get a 30 second light misty sprinkle lolJRnOldsmar wrote:LargoFL wrote:well almost 7:25pm here and man its Booming thunder to my northeast...JR it has to be LOUD by your area..towering clouds, way way up there in the distance..good Luck JR if they make it to you, sure would be nice if some of that line reached me too lol..aw sprinklers on tomorrow if they dont...well good night folks! stay safe out there
This was rather interesting to watch, Largo. Home from work I noticed that the clouds looked promising and were moving west (which is a good change), but everything poofed as it came near. I went for my evening bike ride, not expecting much, but then I heard and saw this coming. Check radar and sure enough, it was building, within 10 miles to the east, and heading straight at me. I was expecting not to make it home dry. As I continued to ride and watch, it completely poofed upon arrival, but in its wake was a fantastic full and bright rainbow. One of the best I've ever seen. Sadly no rain at my place, but a nice ending to the day regardless.

well sprinklers on early this morning, i only water grass and gardens only twice, every now and then 3 times a week depending on conditions and any rains thru the summer time..now in my area im seeing more people watering much more often, a few every day whew..that brings on diseases and weeds etc....how often do you..water the lawn etc?.............as you can see..storm talk is quite rare these days until the season begins to heat up

It is definitely dark and rumbling outside currently. According to the radar it is really coming down at the house. I will update how much rain I get later when I get home.
